Swim Meet

Kammie and Zack had a swim meet on Feb. 2nd.  Since they are in different age groups, Zack swam in the morning and Kam swam in the afternoon.  The plan was to divide and conquer--James took Zack and I went later with Kammie. 

Zack's part of the meet, in the morning, went fast because people swam 25s or 50s.  James however did not take any pictures.  Here are his results:
50 free 38.81 10th of 25 swimmers
50 butterfly 44.13 7th of 15 swimmers-2 team points earned
50 breaststroke 59.01 14th of 21 swimmers
50 backstroke 48.54 11th of 22 swimmers
100 IM 1:43.84 8th of 13 swimmers-1 team point earned
He was also on a 200 freestyle relay team, that finished 2nd, but one guy jumped early, so they got DQ'd.

Kam's part in the afternoon took a LOT longer because they swam 50s or 100s.  She also was on a 200 freestyle relay team, but it was relay team D.  They took 10th place of 15 teams that finished.

100 IM 1:26.34 10th of 26 swimmers.

Kammie is on the young end of the age bracket, but is doing great.  We rewarded ourselves with David's Burger afterwards.  Yum!
