And if you look really close, you can see all the gum people have left in this archway. YUCK!

Old Mill
Since we were in NLR again, we decided to stop and see the Old Mill since we had never been there before. Some movie was filmed there once. J had fun exploring. I'm sure we'll have to take the rest of them there soon too.
And they are OFF...
On August 12th, after almost two years (just shy a month and a half), Jordan got her BRACES OFF. Yay! We had to travel to the North Little Rock office for this instead of the one here in our town, so that they could take molds for the retainers. Then we had to go back in the afternoon to pick up the retainers.
I thought we might as well back up and show you again the day she got her braces on...
September of 2011
Heading out to get them off...
After...
A Golden Birthday!
Zack turned 10 on the 10th. The girls had been at Young Women's Girls
camp all week, but they were home in time to celebrate with us.
Ready to open the gifts...
Let the opening begin...
Who doesn't need more Legos?
A card...
His cake with him as a 1st Degree Black Belt on there...
Of course he wanted to light his own candles...
Our Sweet Birthday Boy!
Blowing out the candles...
Zack doesn't know how grateful we feel to have him in our family. After three wonderful girls it was fun to shake things up with an active and energetic little boy. He has kept us on our toes. We appreciate his hard work and diligence in getting what needs to be done done 1st, like: homework, personal scripture study and piano practice (which he started this Fall) before he moves on to what he really wants to do like: play games on the iPad, play with friends, or watch TV. We love our Zacky boy!
Curls
We bought some new foam curlers that you can sleep in and Sidnie wanted to try them out in early August.
From the back...
From the front...(so excited)
When we took them out in the morning and she saw how curly it was, she actually cried. I told her I could fix it and we pulled it up partially. She could live with that.
Ready for school...
Out with the old...in with the new.
This past Summer it seems like if it was not one thing, it was another. The faucet to our kitchen sink broke loose while James was out of town. We had to replace that.
The sink...
Where the faucet should be...
The old broken off faucet...
The nice new one my husband installed...
Not too long later our microwave that probably wasn't much over a year old died. It began flashing a code in the display, that when we looked it up said: "Your microwave is not longer working [No kidding - I think I figured that part out.] and must be fixed by a professional." We opted to get a new one instead...much cheaper!
The Old...
The new...
Our garage door spring also broke and we had to get that fixed. We opted to also get a key pad entry device installed at the same time. That has been nice.
And there were too many car malfunctions that had to be fixed, but that is an ongoing thing for us. They were just major (e.g. expensive) ones.
