Swim meet at Bryant 7/9/11

Zack freestyle dive in...
Kammie finishing up her freestyle...
Jordan backtroke...

The Bryant pool is an indoor pool, but opens up in several places and has lots of windows. We sat right outside one door and waited for the next events. One time Jordan came outside and sat down on the cooler. A butterfly came and landed right on her. (I was surprised she didn't scream, but I guess it wasn't a "scary" bug.)

Kammie gets her ears pierced

For her 10th birthday, Kammie wanted to get her ears pierced. (She's the first of our girls to want to have this done.) So, on the afternoon of the 8th, we took her to Merle Norman and had it done.

First the left ear...She never even flinched.

Then the right...

It's done!

It's been a long 7 weeks, but she was finally able to take the studs out and change her earrings. She's very excited to be able to wear and change them now. She's faithfully cleaned them daily and we've had no infections or problems. Jordan is even now interested in getting her's done.

Cow day at Chick-Fil-A

I was told by a friend who's son works at a Chick-Fil-A that on July 8th you could dress up like a cow and get a free meal at the resataurant. Since I am not one to pass up free food from a great place AND because we had cow PJ's, 2 cow aprons and a cow costume, we were well on our way to free meals for all of us. We just had to turn a witch's cape and dress into improptu cow costume's by pinning white spots on to them, and we were ready to go. Six free meals later, time playing in the play place, and having our picture taken with the in-store Cow, and we were set.

Our Handsome Prince

Our little boy loves to dress up as Indiana Jones, Spiderman and so on. Here he is as Cinderella's Prince.

Worn Out

A day after our 4th of July festivities, I found my daughter Kammie on the couch like this...

A few days later, Sidnie was found like this...

Late nights and early mornings with no naps!
