It's great to be 8

Since my second little boy was about to turn 8 years old and get baptized, I had Lucia take some pictures of him as well.  This adorable boy was in my tummy when we moved here to Arkansas.  Now he's 8.  For this entire last year, he has been reading the Book of Mormon.  He finished it up before his birthday, just like his older brother did before he got baptized.  It wasn't always easy, but he stuck to it and read the entire book on his own for the first time of hopefully many.  Oh how I love this little boy.  What a joy he is to me and to our family!  My handsome fellow is EIGHT!!!
Trying to hold down that tie that was blowing in the wind.
I can tell in this one that I botched the hair cut.  Sigh!

Senior Photos

Who said my little girl could grow up and graduate from high school?  It certainly wasn't me.  I finally got around to having some senior photos taken of my beautiful daughter.  This is the other dress we got while we were shopping for prom and turned out great for this occasion.  Thanks to Lucia Burnside for working with my sweet girl.

Please understand

For some reason, I feel I should post things chronologically as they happen.  The problem is, I get so far behind.  Like now.  Life is busy and there are current things happening that I want to share, but I don't because I'm not caught up.  So I am going to title some posts and then come back later and fill more in.  That way I can keep things in order, but still maybe get to current happenings I want to share.
