Jordan's Birthday

Jordan is now 14 and started high school.  She is small and quiet, but mighty in many other ways.  She continues to love to read.  She is a great helper around our house.  She loves to cook and learn new skills in the kitchen.  She is usually diligent and works hard to accomplish her goals.  We love our J-bug.

Prior to her birthday, we took her with us when we went out on a date to the Macaroni Grill.  She was thrilled to accompany us.  She enjoyed the bread they serve with the olive oil and cracked pepper and her big bowl of Alfredo pasta.

Here she is with her gifts...

A new ruffly skirt...

A new book by Shannon Hale.  She's loved the Goose Girl series and other books by her.  Don't know if this one is that worthwhile, but it was on sale at Deseret Book (and I got free shipping).  We'll see...

Gum from her sister (even though she's not supposed to have it with her braces)...

A package from the Olson G-parents...

She wanted tri-level brownies for her dessert.  YUM!  And she wanted to light her own candles...

 We sure love you J!
