China Trip

As the final part of James' two years in the leadership development group LeadAR class 15, they traveled internationally to China.  He can tell you much more about it, but here are just some of the photos he took.

Here is the Forbidden City...
The Forbidden City Rock Garden...

Tiananmen Square...
Across the street from Tiananmen Square...
Government Building...

Some of the 2008 Olympic Venues
The stadium...
The Cube (swimming complex)...
 Olympic Tower...

The Great Wall...

A Lake shopping district in Beijing...

Buddah...
Bell Tower in Xian...
Crowded markets...
Pagoda in Buddhist monastery...

Smog...

Terra Cotta Warriors...
 James as a warrior...
The real height difference for James...

James could only text while he was there, not call.  But then he figured out to do Facetime from his iphone to Kate's ipod.  Here he is talking to the children...

 A super duper loooooooooooooooong kite...
This was a once in a life time trip/experience for James.  He had a good time, but we sure missed him.  It was a long two weeks.

  1. James - This really does give a glimpse of the awesomeness of Beijing. Wow. I love the warrior makeover, and really did think the height of it was huge until I saw the revelation of you standing up straight. I had no idea of the expansiveness of the Terra Cotta warriors. You need to know that even before LeadAR you have always been a LeadAR to me.
