1st Racers Swim Meet of the year

Kammie has been on the Racers (year round swim team) for a year, but Zack just started this Fall.  He does it, but often lately he is none to thrilled to have practice instead of free time.  On October 20th, they had their first swim meet of the season in Cabot.  James took them while I took Jordan to horseback riding.  They had fun, and did well, but Zack had a few troubles as well.  He just turned 9, so he now has to swim 50's (2 lengths of the pool) and do flip turns when required.

Zack got DQ'd in backstroke on his flip turn for coming off the wall on his stomach.  He also got his finger caught in the lane rope and that hurt.  He was in tears at the end.  We are unsure if he got DQ'd in Butterfly for doing a flip turn.  In Fly you are not supposed to do a flip turn.  It's a simultaneous two had touch on the wall and turn (without flipping) and go.  We didn't think anyone noticed his flip turn though.

Zack got 1:48.94 on his 100 IM.  That was 3rd place and 6 points.
                 43.56 on his 50 Free.  That was 8th place and 1 point.

Kammie 1:25.51 on her 100 IM.  That was 7th place and 2 points. (9 seconds better)
                 33.21 on her 50 Free.  That was 9th place. (1 second better)
                 40.67 on her 50 Back.  That was 8th place and 1 point.
                 39.31 on her 50 Fly.  That was 7th place and 2 points. (1 second better)
