Zack had to give his first talk for the year in Primary yesterday. We didn't know about it till Saturday night at 9 pm or so, but at least I got the reminder call. I put together a simple talk on Jesus and had Zack practice it a couple of times in the morning. He did a great job and was thrilled with being able to talk into the microphone. That's always fun for a little kid--especially my "loud," but sweet Zacky.
Today however, he woke up with a fever. We went to the doctor and he has Strep Throat. They are also treating Sidnie, because she has a rash all over her tummy, her arms and on her legs behind her knees. The docotor thought it was eczema at first, but with Zack's strep test coming back positive (very quickly), Dr. Byrum thought her rash might be related--the beginning of scarlet fever. So, I'm treating two kidlets and hope no more come down with it.
Thank goodness for modern medicine.
