PFE held what was formerly known as the jog-a-thon. They brought it a company to help this time. Some things were better, some weren't. But Zack was excited about getting pledges and earning prizes. Both Spencer and Zack ran more than the maximum 35 laps. Spencer ran 38 laps and Zack ran around 52 laps. Zack raised $258.75 and Spencer got $38.75.

Zack with is class when they were all done running...
I was impressed with my son Zack. I met a lady who's son is autistic
and in Zack's class. I have heard about Jose' from Zack often.
Apparently she hears about Zack all the time at home as well from
Jose'. Zack and another friend, Nate Atwood, have taken to Jose'. They
help him and watch out for him. When Zack and Nate had finished their
laps (the maximum of 35), they continued to run, helping Jose' work his
way around the circle and stand in line to get another check mark. It
was amazing they way they looked out for him. His Mom told me she had
been worried about integrating him into a regular classroom when they
moved here, but she is very grateful for Zack and Nate for taking Jose'
under their wing. Instead of feeling awkward around him, they include
him and help him. She expressed thanks for teaching him well at home.
I'm glad Zack is able to be such a great friend and example.
