Red/Black Belts

On Thursday, December 20th, 2012 the Tae Kwon Do kids had belt testing.  Kammie also had a band concert that night as well.  So, We had to divide and conquer!  James went with Zack and Kate to TKD and I took Kam to her Christmas Band concert.  Since Kammie had a conflict, she Kammie tested on Tuesday the 18th in class. 

I wasn't sure when Master Tammy was going to have Kammie do her testing.  So, I didn't have the camera on me.  Just the iPad.  So, you get videos and no photos of her.

Kam doing her form.  She said she was nervous because she had to perform in front of the adult class instead of her own class.  There are more black belts in the adult class, but she did just fine.

Off comes the high rank Red belt...

And it's a Red/Black belt for Zack Marshall...

Master Tammy always explains that the Black always goes on top.  Then she jokes that if you do it the wrong way (with red on top) you'll go back to being a red belt.

Kammie hurried back from her band concert to have Master Tammy tie her new belt around her waist as well...
