Kammie turned 11 this year. She was busy going to an Outdoor Skills camp at the Arkansas 4H center all day (Zacky too) and there was still summer swim team practice to be ready for the meet of champs, so her celebration was brief. We opened presents quickly before she was off for the day. She had at the top of her list a guitar or a skateboard. Since a skateboard is more dangerous and we've had a child break a tooth, we opted for the guitar. She now needs someone who know what they are doing to teach her some of the basics. We love Kammie's cheerful spirit in our home and how she helps to "mother" her siblings when they are in need.
Kam's big gift...what could it be?
A fender Guitar...
What's in the gift bag?
Shoes...some imitation Toms that she calls Joes.
In our family we don't always have birthday cake. Kammie chose Ice Cream Dessert (vanilla ice cream mixed with pink lemonade concentrate with oreo crumbs on top and bottom. YUM!
Here she is with the candles lit after the littles already had a couple pieces. Make a wish...
Blow...
Got em'...
We love you Kammie!
