Homemade Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

We put a mint plant in our garden this summer and had to come up with something other than just putting the mint leaves into homemade lemonade, so Jordan searched on line and came up with a recipe for homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was a long process, but we decided to try it. It calls for using 2 cups of fresh mint and infusing it into a cream mixture and then making a custard. It was a lot of work for only a few cups of ice cream, but it tasted yummy.
