Zack and Kammie participated in their first swimming meet of the season. We started early (around 7 am and the pool) and it were there for at least three hours while all thier events were completed. For now, Zack and Kammie are swimming the 25 meter freestyle and 25 meter backstroke. As they improve, they may compete in more stroke styles. They each also participated on a relay team.

We are still getting the hang of the swimming times and so on. For each age level, there are gold, silver and bronze times. Usually new swimmers start in the bronze category and can move up. Kammie and Zack both qualified in the silver swimming time for the freestyle. (Not bad for newbies.) Zack finished 1st in freestyle and 2nd in backstroke. Kammie was 1st in the silver category in freestyle and decent in the backstroke. Both were the fastest swimmers on their respective relay teams. WE had a fun day!
